| We
meet in room MMB-1041, Mott Memorial Building, at the
Mott Community College in Flint. Bass clef reading is
always part of our on-going practice, as we make a habit
of giving each member some high and some low parts by
trading music during the rehearsals. We, however, don't
ask any member to read music that they can't handle. Many
of us are hobbiests, others are band/orchestra directors,
free lancers, private horn instructors, and college music
students. Any skill level is welcome. In past months,
the last Wednesday of the month has been set aside for
our large horn choir. On May 28, 2008 we had 16 members
attend. Listen to a sound file on our Music page. We have
not been meeting weekly since May of 2007. I will post
our next meeting date on this page and, also, send out
an e-mail to our mailing list when we decide to meet again.
We could possibly meet in Saginaw from time to time for
those in the Saginaw, Bay, Midland area. Let me know if
you're interested. |
